Twestival organizers are in a flurry of preparation for the September 11th event, and the excitement is contagious.

“I heard them talking about it,” says James Terrell, kitchen manager of Old Chicago in Edmond. “My first thought was, this is a good idea - this helping boys, making sure they have funding. My second thought was, we love to throw parties and we know we’ll do a better job of it than anyone else.”

The Old Chicago team is warming up their ovens to serve deep dish Chicago style pizza from 7 pm until… whenever on September 11, 2009. Oklahoma City is invited to Tweetup, enjoy some music under the stars, and taste a whole lot of Old Chicago hospitality.

Get your tickets today. Remember! All proceeds go to benefit White Fields, a non-profit that provides a home for severely abused and neglected boys in permanent DHS custody. Follow TwestivalOKC on Twitter for updates and additional information.
